She
is standing there waiting just for him...
The lights are
down in the room except for the soft studio
lighting gently putting a sparkle in her eyes
emphasizing her beautiful gown and flowers.
She smiles when
she sees him at the door.
Then he
approaches her while a special music selection
plays on our portable stereo in the background. We
put the cameras down and leave the room...

They have this
moment, the very first moment on their wedding day,
all to themselves. He can freely tell her how
beautiful she looks and she can share little
secrets with him. Just the two of them.
What a great
moment to have on your wedding day.

When they are
ready for us to start, we can quickly take all the
pictures needed.
Pictures with
the bride.
Pictures with
the groom.
Pictures with
the bride and groom. No need to go back to do this
again after the ceremony. We did it all before!

Now, wouldn't this be the most
romantic setting for the groom to first see his
bride.
Compare this to the traditional
ceremony setting where the groom is standing at the
altar waiting to see his bride for the first
time...

|
Did you know why
the groom always comes to the altar walking in
between the officiator and the best man?
You see, either
way he falls, someone will catch him :)
Next he stands
there waiting for his bride facing the crowd
looking at him. Studying him. Wondering.
Whispering. Could he faint any minute now?!
:)

Is this more
romantic than our studio scenario described
above?
After the
ceremony you then have to set extra time aside for
pictures with the bride and groom together. The
bride and groom with the wedding party. With the
families. Cousins. Neighbors.
Precious time
you'd rather spend with your guests. You'll feel
guilty having your pictures taken and having to
rush. Please remember, it makes no difference for
Njaal how you prefer to let the groom see you for
the first time. Njaal has only one rule he follows:
Whatever the Bride & Groom wants to do
next!
